Write On Paint

Make a lasting impression by writing on paint.

Sometimes, you may find that you need to scrawl a few words on a painted surface. This has the potential of being complicated. If you use water-based inks, for instance, the writing could smear and damage the paint. However, there is a way to write clean and precise script on paint that will last for as long as you want it to.

Instructions

1. Wipe off the painted area you want to write on with a lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Removing build up and dirt will make writing cleanly easier.

2. Uncap your felt pen and place the tip onto the painted surface. With a little pressure, write out your name or message. Avoid keeping the tip of the pen in one place too long as the ink may bleed. The ink will quickly dry so there is no need to worry about smudging.

3. Dip your thin lining brush into your paint. Place the tip lightly onto the painted surface you will write on. Lightly write your name or message on the painted surface. Dip the brush tip in your paint when it starts to dry out or fade. Allow the paint to completely dry for an hour or two.
