Stopping sales calls to your cell phone doesn't have to be difficult.
Sales calls to your cell phone can not only waste your time but can eat up some of your monthly air time usage. Stopping the sales calls to your cell phone requires noting which individuals or businesses keep calling you, registering your cell phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry and waiting 30 days to see if the sales calls stop. Alternately, you can call each business separately and request to be removed from their sales database.
Instructions
1. Write down all the phone numbers that make sales calls to you. Keep a copy of what day they call you and, if applicable, how many times per day.
2. Ask the caller to remove your phone number from their sales agendas when you receive a sales call.
3. Log onto the Internet and visit the Do Not Call Registry website at DoNotCall.gov to register your mobile phone number for free in their database. Your number will now remain there for life as of 2010. Most sales calls should stop within 30 days.
