Promotional products with a company logo build brand recognition.
Large and small companies use promotional items to market their brands. Magnets, mugs, pens, key chains, calendars, golf balls, jackets, hats, T-shirts and just about anything else imaginable at some time or another have been imprinted with logos and/or the company motto. There are several companies that specialize in promotional products with company logos.
Quality
Find a promotional product retailer with quality products. Even though promotional items are given away, high-quality products will do more for a company image than cheaply-made items that are quick to come apart or break.
Target the Market
Choose products that meet the needs or interests of the target market, are easy to use, are likely to be used and will not get in the way. The more usable a product is, the more likely the consumer will hang on to it. Select promotional products that will last a considerable amount of time.
Design
Choose the design and colors carefully. A company brand is more than just a logo. It is an idea associated with certain images, fonts and colors. Graphics, colors and type-style used in a logo affect how consumers identify with a brand.
Placement
Decide where on a product the company logo will be imprinted and how large it will be. A well-placed, properly-sized logo on an item with a long life will do much to build brand recognition.
Artwork
Provide artwork to the promotional company, according to the specifications it provides. Low-quality artwork will result in low-quality product. Most promotional companies have artwork specifications that require a minimum dot-per-inch, file extension, size and CMYK or Pantone (PMS) color specifications.
Quantity
Buy in quantity. Promotional products are cheaper in bigger lots.
