Tumblr may be a microblogging platform but it supplies several options for customizing your blog, including adding custom pages. Tumblr custom pages support HTML so you can design them however you like. You can use extra pages on your tumblelog to create an "About Me" page, list all available tags for your blog, feature specific posts or articles or whatever you need. Tumblr also gives you the option to post links to your pages directly on your tumblelog if supported by your theme.
Instructions
1. Navigate to tumblr.com and log in to your account. Click the "Customize" link in the right column of your Dashboard.
2. Click the "Pages" link in the top bar of your "Customize" page. Click the "Add a page" link to add a new page. Keep in mind that unlike a blog post, you will need to make future edits to your page in the "Customize" page.
3. Type a URL extension for your page into the "Page URL" field. This is the extension off the main URL of your tumblelog to navigate to this page.
4. Click the tab next to "Page Type" to choose between a standard layout, your own custom HTML layout or a redirect to another webpage online.
5. Type a title for your page into the field. It is best to use a title that accurately described the content of your page if you want to be found by search engines.
6. Enter the content for your page into the "Body" field. Click the "Upload Photo" link to import photos from your computer to your page. Even with a standard layout, you can access the HTML code for the page by clicking the "HTML" link in the text toolbar.
7. Click the "Show a link to this page" box if you want Tumblr to automatically display a link to your page on your tumblelog. Click the "Create Page" button to create and publish your page.
