How Do You Get The Forms Needed To Run Your Own Employment Agency

You can find many business forms on government websites.

Running an employment agency requires compliance with government regulations. Using forms provided by government agencies can ensure such guidelines are met. A wide variety of forms are available through federal and state websites.

Instructions

1. Access the website Business.gov. On the lower right side of the homepage is a section called "Have a Question or Comment?" At the bottom of this section, click "Download forms." This will lead to a page titled "Essential Government Forms." This page lists groups of forms that employers require for a variety of situations. Included in this list are "Starting a Business," "Financing a Business" and "Operating a Business." Select the area of interest to view the list of forms. Select the form needed from the list and follow the website's instructions to download or print it.

2. Download forms to handle employment guidelines. An employment agency will require particular forms that ensure employment practices are followed. Forms such as "Employment Eligibility Verification," "Employer ID Applications" and "Equal Employment Opportunity" can be found on the Business.gov website, on the "Essential Government Forms" page.

3. Find forms required for hiring foreign workers. These can be found on the Business.gov website. Listed on the "Essential Government Forms" page are several headings. Find the heading "Operating a Business" and click on "Forms for Employers." Listed under the heading "Hiring Foreign Workers" are the appropriate forms. Included are the following forms: "Application for Alien Employment Certification," "Specialty (Professional) Workers" and "Nurses for Disadvantaged Areas."

4. Download forms to handle employment of seasonal workers. On the "Essential Government Forms" page, select "Forms for Employers." Listed under "Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Workers" are two forms: "Wage Statement" and "Worker Information, Terms and Conditions of Employment."

5. Check Forms.gov if you can't find a particular form. This website includes 5,400 business and personal forms. Try searching by agency or topic. Download or print the form using the website's instructions.

6. Find forms that are specific to your state through its website. Select the business section on the state's homepage, then click on "forms" to view available forms.
