3. Contact the owners of private properties. If you have obtained a permit, it will only give you the right to post fliers on public property. Note, however, that some owners will not allow you to post your fliers if they consider you a source of competition because of the product, service or event you are advertising.
4. Post your fliers safely. It is not safe for drivers if you place your flier on the windshield of the car. Many people will not notice it until they start driving, which is dangerous and inconvenient. You could be held liable if the driver suffers an injury as a result. It is best to place your flier in a spot where the driver will notice it before entering the car, such as on the window on the driver's side.
